I had Ken B and his son Spencer aboard today for a half day fluke trip. The guys worked a bunch of areas over very well with bucktail and Gulp combos for a bunch of short fluke and the usual searobins, crabs, etc. Ken had a few tough luck chances

With the start of the flood current we began at Fire Island Inlet itself and within minutes were hooked up to something EXTREMELY large. The first run had me hoping for a stray 50lb striper but the reality was it was more likely one of the big rays that visit in the summer
